Great Lakes Sports built sailing watercraft in the state of Ohio during the 1970s into the 1980s. Producing catamaran sailboats for much of its existence, Great Lakes Sports also produced a v-shaped hulled vessel in the 1980s. Often wind powered, the vessels produced by Great Lakes Sports could also be easily fitted with an outboard motor.
