Newman Industries Incorporated was founded in Miami, Oklahoma dedicated to the construction of powerboats. Creating their first line-up of vessels through the mid-1970s, Newman Industries Incorporated constructed a multitude of pleasure craft suited for fishing as well as cruising the waters powered by outboard and stern drive propulsion. With the last year of production occurring in 1986, Newman Industries Incorporated was purchased by Bayliner.
