Alcan Canada Products Limited purchased Peterborough boats in the 1970s to create Peterborough/Alcan marine company. A Princeville, Quebec boat builder constructing small, fiberglass bow riders, Peterborough/Alcan ranged between 13 and 23 feet in length. Peterborough/Alcan was also attached to the 10-foot outboard motor-powered boat called the Jet Star built through the 1970s. The Peterborough/Alcan boat company went out of business in 1985. Princecraft took over the Peterborough/Alcan production facility quickly afterwards.
