Between 1977 and 1991, Cobia Boats were manufactured within the Robalo Marine Corporation. Cobia Boats/Robalo Boats furnished an extensive line of recreational watercraft that included the Sunskiff and Monte Carlo lines. Shortly after being acquired by another marine entity in 1990, Robalo sold off Cobia Boats to Yamaha.
