Producing sailboats and powerboats in the state of Connecticut beginning in 1971, Legnos Boat Building Company created the Mystic Catboat line. Producing wind-powered vessels such as the Mystic River Catboat ideal for day-sailing, Legnos sailboats stretched as long as 30 feet. Mystic Catboat/Legnos also produced a 35-foot motor yacht suited for sport fishing.
