A sailboat builder that produced watercrafts in Pacoima, California through the 1980s, Merit Marine Incorporated was founded by owner and boat designer Paul Yates. The fiberglass sailboats in the Merit Marine Incorporated line-up ranged between 22 and 28 feet in hull length. Merit Marine Incorporated sold over 1,400 vessels constructed using original company designs from 1982 to 1987.
