Burns-Craft was founded in 1968 as a marine manufacturer specializing the creation of boats suited for long-term living. Initially targeting the houseboat market, Burns-Craft eventually migrated into the production of motor yachts. Built as custom order vessels until 1988 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Burns-Craft was purchased by SunRunner Yachts.
