Founded in 1981 as A-1 Fiberglass, Avanti Boats/The Jet Set constructed fiberglass-hulled with outboard and stern drive motors for the pleasure craft market. Based out of a Homestead, Florida facility, Avanti Boats/ The Jet Set produced quality speed boats as well as center console watercraft. The company dropped “The Jet Set” name after 1993 and became known as Avanti Marine.
