1989 O'Day Values, Specs & O'Day Price

Select an O'Day Year & O'Day Model

Once the largest sailboat manufacturer in the United States, the company O’Day was created in 1958 by America Cup sailor George O’Day. Creating a wide variety of sailing vessels ranging from day-sailers to 40-foot yachts, O’Day success was accredited the mass production of fiberglass boats and the adoption of high build quality. Even though George O’Day sold the company in the 1960s, the company continued to wear his name until its closure after the 1989 model year. With many vessels sold over a nearly 30-year period, many recreational boaters are still enjoying their O’Day sailboats.
No longer in production. 1990 model information not available. For information after 1989, see Pearson Yachts.
