Tomos outboard motors were distributed in the United States by Nissan during the late 1980s into the early 1990s. Sourced from the same Republic of Slovenia company that popularly built mopeds and motorcycles, Tomos outboard motors were designed to propel small boats. Ranging in performance levels from 4 to 18 horsepower, sales of Tomos brand outboard motors ceased after the 1991 model year.
