Producing the 10-foot Dolphin along with other personal watercraft through the second half of the 1980s, Fun Boats was one of many American companies seeking position in the fast-growing marketplace for smaller marine products. Early models of the Dolphin used Force outboard motors while Fun Boats added a jet drive in the second year of production. A Largo, Florida marine company, Fun Boats concluded operations in 1993.
