Formerly known as the Power Play Boat Company, the marine company changed its name to Powerquest Boats in 1991. Preserving the line-up of speedboats, Powerquest Boats continued its stride as a performance watercraft builder. On top of bowriders and offshore speed vessels, Powerquest Boats also manufactured a cruiser for the first time in 2002. After several decades of operations, Powerquest Boats company produced their last vessels in 2006 and fell into liquidation at the end of 2011.
