Founded as Water Sports of Texas in 1987, Comet Boats manufactured and sold mini powerboats. Building 10-foot vessels composing of plastic hulls, Comet Boats were personal watercrafts powered by small gasoline engines. Production of Comet Boats watercraft ended after the 2004 model year.
