The 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse is a compact two-door sports car that is available as a hatchback or a convertible with seating for four. The base engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine which produces 140 hp. A turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder is also available, which generates 210 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque. The Eclipse is primarily FWD; however the GSX trim features AWD.
