As one of GM’s largest and most capable SUVs, the 2000 Chevrolet Suburban is a big and brawny muscle machine offering seating for up to nine with a front bench seat, and powerful line-up of engines under the hood. The Suburban is offered in 1500 and 2500 versions, in Base, LS and LT trims, with two or four wheel drive. Engines range from a 285 horsepower 5.3-liter V8 to a 300 horsepower 6.0-liter V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
