The 2001 Kia Sportage is a compact two or four door SUV with your choice of a convertible top, automatic or manual transmission and 4WD depending on the model. The Sportage boasts a standard 130 horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder in all models, with a surprisingly long list of standard equipment, including air conditioning, keyless entry, power controls, AM/FM/CD changer audio, a rear window defogger and luggage roof rack. Safety equipment includes driver and passenger-side airbags and ABS brakes. The Sportage seats up to five passengers.
