2003 Viper

The modern cornerstone of Dodge performance, the Viper enters 2003 with its most significant redesign since it entered production. Introduced only as the roadster SRT-10 model, the lighter weight Dodge Viper features a larger V-10 engine producing 500 horsepower. While the Viper SRT-10 serves the high-end supercar market, Dodge has also prepared an all-new vehicle for the sport compact crowd. The 215-horsepower Dodge Neon SRT-4 represents itself as a high-styled sport sedan powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine. Catering to commercial enterprises, Dodge has reintroduced a cargo van version of the Caravan and Grand Caravan. Starting in 2003, the Mercedes-Benz sourced Dodge Sprinter van is offered as a new large capacity cargo vehicle. Deleting the four-cylinder engine option for 2003, the Dodge Dakota is available only with Magnum V-6 and Magnum V-8 powerplant choices.
