Marking their 100th anniversary of vehicle production in 2003, Ford is commemorating the milestone with much fanfare. Explorer, Focus, F-Series Super Duty, Mustang and Taurus models will be available in a special 100th anniversary edition configuration offered with a black exterior and a two-tone color interior trim. Receiving its first complete redesign since introduction in 1997, the Ford Expedition emphasizes improved handling and interior comfort. Gains for the 2003 Expedition include a fully-independent suspension and a fold-down third row bench seat. Extensive suspension re-engineering for the 2003 Ford Crown Victoria refines the ride and handling of the large sedan. Following fanfare for the 2002 release of the SVT Focus, the factory tuner-trimmed vehicle is expanded to include the five-door hatchback for 2003.
