The 2004 Volkswagen Phaeton is the automaker’s foray into the upscale four door Sedan market. Available in two models – the V8 and the W12 (with a Premier package available on the W12), the Phaeton boasts plenty of custom features offered as standard equipment. The Phaeton is powered by either a 335 horsepower 4.2-liter V8 or a 420 horsepower 6.0-liter W12 with a 6-speed automatic transmission and AWD. The equipment list is long and includes front/side-body/side-head airbags, ABS brakes, traction control, dual zone climate control and leather appointments.
