For 2005, the A6 gets a slight redesign including a new front fascia. A four-door luxury sedan that offers seating for up to five-passengers, the A6 is offered with either a 3.1-liter V6 engine that produces 255 horsepower, or a 4.2-liter V8 that generates 335. Both are linked to a six-speed automatic transmission that can also be shifted in manual mode. The new front fascia allows for the optional adaptive bi-xenon headlamp.
