Borrowing considerable design inspiration from the successful Cadillac CTS, the high-ranking 2005 STS utilizes a standard rear-wheel drive layout with an optional all-wheel drive setup. A new, smaller six-cylinder engine is added to the 2005 Cadillac CTS. The 2.8-liter powerplant serves as the basis for a new base level CTS sedan. Introduced last year, the Cadillac SRX now offers the fast-adapting Magnetic Ride Control suspension on its rear-wheel drive model. A new towing package on the 2005 SRX dramatically improves the practicality of the luxury utility vehicle.
