New for 2005, the Civic hybrid is a four-door five-passenger family car available in only one trim level. It features a hybrid gasoline/electric engine capable of achieving EPA estimates of 49 City / 51 Highway MPG. The 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine produces 110 horsepower linked to a C.V.T. automatic transmission.
