For 2005, the Mountaineer remains relatively unchanged, due for a make-over in 2006. This is a four-door up-to-seven passenger mid-size SUV available in Luxury and Premier trim levels, with a 4.0-liter V6 that produces 210 horsepower or a 4.6-liter V8 that generates 292 horsepower. The Mountaineer is available in two or all-wheel-drive configurations, and it features an in-dash six-disc CD changer, adjustable pedals and front and rear parking sensors.
