The Mini Cooper is a compact two-door four-passenger car with a surprising amount of room in a relatively small and fun-to-drive package. The base model has been bumped up and now offers 118 horsepower from its 1.6-liter engine linked to either a five-speed manual transmission or the optional variable speed automatic. There is also an S model that adds a supercharger to the 1.6-liter four-cylinder that increases to horsepower to 168. The S is available with the standard six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic.
