For 2007, Suzuki arrives with two new vehicles accommodating the desire for a new sport utility and subcompact from the brand. Introducing an all-new version of their mid-sized sport utility vehicle for 2007, Suzuki seeks to lure buyers of popular family crossover with a high feature product. For the second generation XL-7, Suzuki opted to use the platform used by the Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent as well as a General Motors 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Unique for the XL-7 built on the General Motors structure is available third-row seating. Debuting as a versatile five-door hatchback, the 2007 Suzuki SX4 is fitted with standard all-wheel drive. The Suzuki SX4 is presented as one of the least expensive all-wheel drive automobiles available for the 2007 marketplace. With the arrival of the SX4, the Aerio hatchback wagon was dropped. A low-range mode is now included on every all-wheel drive equipped Grand Vitara for 2007. The Suzuki Reno and Forenza feature no significant changes in 2007 while the mid-sized Verona sedan has been dropped.
