Kia's product line is starkly different in 2008 compared to 10 years ago. Instead of two vehicles, the 2008 Kia product selection now covers eight distinct products. Gaining a new 3.8-liter V-6 engine last year, the 2008 Kia Sorento receives a 3.3-liter V-6 powerplant as standard propulsion for the base and LX trim level for 2008. The remainder of the 2008 Kia line-up is largely unchanged compared to the previous with exception to some minor aspects. Auxiliary audio inputs for MP3-compatible digital music devices have been added to the Optima, Sedona, Rio and the Rondo model.
