Unchanged for 2009, the Lincoln Town Car is a full-size luxury sedan that seats six people when using the three-person front bench. Town Car Signature Limited standard features include17-inch alloy wheels, a power-closing trunk, keyless entry, rear park assist, heated front seats, power-adjustable driver and passenger seats, a tilting steering column, a leather- and wood-trimmed steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a stereo with a six-CD changer. The Signature L trim provides 6 additional inches of wheelbase, heated rear seats, a folding armrest for a storage bin and rear-seat vanity mirrors and audio/climate controls. Available only with rear-wheel drive, the Town Car is equipped with a 4.6L V8 producing 239 hp and 287 lb-ft of torque with a four-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy comes in at 15 mpg city/22 mpg hwy and 18 mpg combined. The 2009 Lincoln Town Car safety features are limited to traction control and front-seat side airbags and doesn't offer head curtain airbags for the first or second rows or stability control.
