See All Model YearsLearn MoreAs uncertainty surrounds the continuation of the Saturn brand, most of auto company's lineup remains intact for 2009. One major change to the Saturn brand is the loss of its compact entry-level vehicle. Selling in a lower quantity than General Motors predicted, the Saturn Astra's unsuccessful 2008 debut has led to the discontinuation of the car in the United States for the 2009 model year. With the 2009 Saturn Outlook crossover vehicle, engine power was increased up to 288 horsepower. Two special edition versions of the Saturn Sky have been released for 2009. The Rudy Red Special Edition and the Hydro Blue Special Edition Saturn Sky are limited-run packages equipped with distinguished appearances as well as premium stereo units. Saturn has dropped the Green Line nameplate for 2009 referring to their two gasoline/electric vehicles as the Aura Hybrid and Vue Hybrid.
