With some minor changes for 2009, the Toyota Tundra Four-Wheel-Drive Truck is a full-size half-ton pickup available in three body styles: Regular Cab, Double Cab and CrewMax. Three engines are also available: a 4.0L V6 engine pushing out 236 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque, a 4.7L V8 engine churning out 271 hp and 313 lb-ft of torque, and a 5.7L V8 engine that controls 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine and 4.7L V8 engine come with a standard five-speed automatic transmission, while the 5.7L V8 engine gets a standard six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy ratings vary depending on the configuration, but the Regular and Double Cabs with a five-speed automatic transmission can achieve 15 mpg city/19 mpg hwy, and the Crew Cab is good for 13/16 mpg.
