The 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class is a compact luxury sports car with a power-retractable hardtop. The SLK is available in three trims; the SLK300, SLK350, and the SLK55 AMG. The SLK300 is powered by a 228 hp 3.0L V6, and the SLK350 uses a 3.5L V6 which produces 300 hp. At the top of the lineup is the SLK55 AMG which shoves a 5.5L V8 engine under the hood, and it develops 355 hp. The SLK300 comes standard with a six-speed manual but a seven-speed automatic is optional. The other two trims come standard with the seven-speed auto.
