For less than $30,000 in any configuration, the Titan features a standard 5.6L V8 engine that makes 317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque. Hauling capacity is either a 2,000-lb payload 9,500 lbs towed. For people that need that kind of capacity -- including room for five or six cabin occupants -- the 12 mpg city, 18 mpg highway gas mileage is normal.
