The main product being used to establish the Ram brand is the full-sized truck previously known as the Dodge Ram. The 2010 Ram 1500 defines the half-ton truck. The Ram 2500 representing the three-quarter ton truck and the one-ton Ram 3500 are both new vehicles for 2010. Developed under Dodge, the Ram 2500 and 3500 heavy duty pickup trucks have been completely redesigned with increased load hauling capacities. A 383-horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine is standard on the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 models while a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel powerplant generating 650 pound-feet of torque is optional. The mid-sized Dakota pickup truck is also integrated into the new Ram brand for 2010. Offered in extended cab and crew cab body styles, the Ram Dakota is available with new exterior colors for 2010.
