2011 Audi A5 Values
Introduced in 2008, the 2011 Audi A5 is a four passenger, two-door full-size luxury sport coupe. A soft-top convertible option became available in 2010 as well as a new base 2.0-liter 211-hp Turbo I4 with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Optional is a 3.2-liter 265-hp V6 with automatic only. With the I4, the A5 achieves up to 22/30 mpg city/hwy. All trims have standard all-wheel drive which gives the coupe dynamic handling and relentless traction even in inclement weather. A high quality ergonomic interior is complemented with leather sport bucket seats and a center mounted NAV/Infotainment display. Upgraded audio and numerous safety and technology options enhance the A5's appeal. Strong competitors include Infiniti G37 Coupe and Cadillac CTS Coupe.Read more Read less
The biggest change to the 2011 Audi A5 is the availability of a new 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. It replaces the previous 6-speed Tiptronic, and Audi claims the new compact gearbox is smoother and returns improved fuel economy. Also, Audi has dropped the 3.2-liter FSI V6 from the A5 lineup, leaving only the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder to power the cars.
Styling and design; beautiful, well-appointed interior; performance in the S5 model; ride comfort; all-weather "quattro" traction; fuel-efficiency in the 2.0 model
With both coupe and Cabriolet models, the Audi A5 and S5 hit the target on design and styling, and both the A5 and S5 are quite possibly the two of the best-looking touring cars inside and out. Interior comfort and ride quality are top notch, with the coupe making an especially good long-distance cruiser for two. Audi says that the A5 and S5 Cabriolet models have best-in-class trunk space.
