Special features for 2011

Despite having room for seven and a slew of seating configurations, this large SUV has a sporty driving feel and a distinctive design. The standard safety features and available technology offer a compromise between minivan and sleek SUV.

The 2011 Mazda CX-9 is a seven passenger crossover vehicle available in three trim levels; Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. A 273 hp producing 3.7-liter V6 comes standard with FWD and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Mazda also offers an active torque split AWD as an additional extra. Other available options include moonroof, power liftgate, hands-free audio/phone capability, and 7-inch color display navigation system. With the help of electronically controlled multiport fuel injection, the CX-9 gets an EPA estimated 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. This versatile crossover combines style with safety scoring 5-star front and side-impact crash-test ratings. Mazda offers an extended protection plan up to 10 years/100,000 miles.
