The 2011 model year serves as a wind-down for the car division that has been part of the American automobile sector since 1939 serving as an intermediate between Ford and Lincoln. The V-8 powered, rear-wheel drive Mercury Grand Marquis has been a mainstay in the marketplace since 1975. The Grand Marquis is one of few sedans sold with a front bench seat allowing for six passenger accommodations.
