Largely unchanged for 2012, the Volkswagen Routan is a seven passenger FWD minivan powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 283 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The base engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that enables the Routan to achieve an EPA estimated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
