The fuel-conscious sedan combines a high-voltage lithium-ion battery and electric motor with a 2.0L gasoline engine, good for a combined 188 hp. The plug-in feature provides battery recharging with a household 120-volt outlet. Also featured is regenerative braking, which captures kinetic energy built up during braking and stores it for later use.
