All-new to the Lincoln luxury brand's line-up for 2016 is the MKX. Transplanting the styling and technology shown on the MKC, the 2016 Lincoln MKX includes available features such as the light-up welcome mat and improved engineering for greater interior noise reduction. In addition to the standard 3.7-liter V-6 engine, a 335-horsepower 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost powerplant is optional on the new MKX.

The remainder of Lincoln's 2015 line-up is retained for the 2016 model year with small changes. The 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid features EcoSelect mode that optimizes fuel economy. For some 2016 Lincoln modes, expect the availability of SYNC 3 connected technology offering faster performance and improved voice interaction. Late in the 2016 calendar year, expect Lincoln's return to the larger super-luxury sedan market with a vehicle based on the Continental Concept car shown at auto shows through 2015.
