Porsche adds a number of range-topping performance models for 2016. Receiving an engine transplanted from the Porsche 911, the Boxster and Cayman both feature greater performance potential. The all-new 275-horsepower Boxster Spyder and the 285-horsepower Cayman GT4 also feature weight-saving attributes including the absence of a standard stereo system. There will also be a Black Edition version of the 2016 Cayman arriving early in the calendar year. For 2016, there are now seven versions of the Cayenne crossover vehicle to choose from. A base Cayenne provides a more financially-compelling entrance to the line-up while two new high-performance models allow thrill-seeking crossover drivers to experience considerable excitement.

The 2016 Porsche Cayenne GTS is powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine generating 440 horsepower with a lower ride height than other Cayenne crossovers. A hyper-powered all-wheel drive premium utility, Cayenne Turbo S is the new top-of-the-line performance model producing 570 horsepower from a biturbo V-8 engine. Porsche's famed 911 sports car family adds the GT3 RS designed as a 500-horsepower track-oriented vehicle. For 2017, the Porsche 911 will receive a new-generation redesign. Porsche's 918 Spyder supercar's limited production run concluded in July of 2015.
