After a 2016 model year seeing the Camaro, Cruze, Equinox, Volt, Malibu and the Spark receiving a redesign or noticeable refresh, Chevrolet enters 2017 positioned to continue a styling and performance progression. The 2017 model year remains one where Chevrolet will up the ante in performance and fashion. An all-new ZL1, based on the light sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro, will pack several high performance tailoring touches including a 650-horsepower, 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 engine. For the new year, a bolder alternative to the sedan version of the Chevrolet Cruze is now available. The 2017 Cruze Hatch accomplishes both a new form of practicality and athleticism for Chevrolet. A late addition to Chevrolet's 2017 lineup is the Spark ACTIV (a radically redesigned mini-compact with a crossover slant). The Chevrolet Trax remains for the new year with a series of styling and infotainment upgrades. 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup now offers a High Desert package while the Silverado HD models with the Duramax diesel engine gains a new air intake system. Last but not least, the 2017 Chevrolet lineup adds a potentially game-changing all-electric vehicle. The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a compact hatchback promising maximum driving range of over 200 miles from its onboard battery and comes priced competitively against other entry-level electric cars.
