For 2017, there's the family-oriented Journey and the more truck-like Durango offered with a powerful HEMI V-8 engine. The R/T model trim of the Journey is replaced with the GT starting in 2017 consisting of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, high-performance suspension, leather seating featuring red accent stitching and a 368-watt, six-speaker audio system. The GT trim level is also introduced to the Durango for 2017 as a replacement to the Limited. A monochromatic exterior look is featured with the 2017 Dodge Durango GT and joins the R/T trim as models available with the heavily-stylized Blacktop Package. Newly offered the 2017 Durango is an Anodized Platinum appearance package adding Gunmetal and chrome accent touches to the cabin.
