Introduced to the United States for the 2015 model year, the entry-level Chevrolet Trax crossover is given a bold facelift for 2017 that includes a new front end and available connectivity through Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Planning massive changes for the Equinox and Traverse for 2018, Chevrolet has prepared some special trim packages for the 2017 versions of both crossover vehicles. On the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, a Sport Edition and Midnight Edition are now available. The Sport Edition features a Summit White paint scheme while the Midnight Edition is covered with a Mosaic Black exterior appearance. Both special edition models of the 2017 Equinox will be equipped with Jet Black perforated leather-appointed seats and wear 18-inch aluminum wheels. A Graphite Edition version available on the 2LT trim level of the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse adds 20-inch Dark Charcoal wheels and dual exhaust. The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban continue to lead the brand's utility vehicle range with V-8 power.
