Volvo's biggest highlight the 2017 model year has been the introduction of their flagship 90 Series car line. Replacing the S80, the 2017 Volvo S90 four-door sedan exhibits the Swedish brand's dedication to superior styling, material use and technology. The Volvo V90 is a wagon featuring the same engineering as the sedan. The S90 and V90 are the first models to offer Volvo's Pilot Assist II semi-autonomous driving technology. This driver aiding system has also been added to the XC90 crossover. Providing a financially more accessible entry point to the Volvo XC90, a T5 AWD model features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower. Still an emerging name in premium performance, Polestar continues to display Volvo's finest racing-inspired engineering to create fast production cars. Limited in global production to 1,500 vehicles (with approximately 200 destined for North America), the Polestar line upgrades the S60 and V60 for 2017. Powered by a 362-horsepower, four-cylinder Drive-E engine, the Volvo S60 Polestar and V60 Polestar wear 20-inch lightweight wheels, slotted brake discs and employ weight optimizing engineering.
