About M35

Offered only with a 4.5-liter V-8 engine during its first generation, the INFINITI M sedan line was expanded in 2006 through the addition of a V-6 premium sport sedan. Featuring the completely new INFINITI M styling, the M35 was immediately charged with an exterior displaying graceful but performance-driven lines and a rich, driver-oriented cabin. Leather seating, Bluetooth connectivity and INFINITI Voice Recognition came standard on the M35. A product of Nissan's VQ powerplant family, the 3.5-liter V-6 engine that powered the rear-wheel drive INFINITI M35 or the all-wheel drive M35x. Initially rated to produce 280 horsepower in 2006, engine power was increased to 303 horsepower for the 2009 model year. A seven-speed automatic transmission also joined the power boost. Vehicle Dynamic Control was standard on the M35 while Rear Active Steer adds sharper handling and speed control to the sedan. For 2007, the INFINITI M35 added accident prevention technology with available Lane Departure Warning. An all-new INFINITI M line arriving for 2011 dropped the M35 in favor of the M37.
