About GT-R
In 2009, the GT-R was launched by Nissan, boasting a twin-turbocharged V6 engine, all-wheel-drive and a Skyline-like design. The 2010 GT-R featured an updated launch control system to help improve axle handing. The suspension was improved for better handling, and side curtain airbags as well as front airbags became standard. In 2011, the base trim was eliminated. The suspension was updated and new front/rear fascias were introduced. Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration was made standard alongside of automated headlamps. Subtle aerodynamic updates made the 2012 GT-R smoother handling and faster, with minor interior and exterior improvements. A transmission update and standard backup camera graced the 2013 model year. Updated fuel injectors and better oil delivery system were the notable changes for 2014.
