See All Model YearsLearn MoreThe 2011 Dodge line-up will be heavily influenced by a high-powered Chrysler six-cylinder engine. Generating between 283 and 305 horsepower, depending on the application, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 will be offered with the Avenger, Charger, Challenger and the Grand Caravan along with other models. After a brief hiatus, the Dodge Durango returns in 2011 now based on a platform similar to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. A Pentastar V-6 or a HEMI V-8 engine is available as propulsion for the new Durango. As well as adding the new V-6 engine, the Charger and Challenger line is enriched by greater high-end performance. The SRT-8 versions of the Dodge Challenger and Charger are propelled by a new 6.4-liter V-8 providing 470 horsepower to the rear wheels.
