Vincent Note

VINTAGE - As you use this price guide for Vincent motor-cycles, please keep in mind that the values indicated are based on the limited pricing data available. Your comments on the Vincent motor-cycle values shown are very much welcomed. These are approximate pricing guidelines due to the fact that Vincent offered several options to discriminating customers causing many variations within a model line. When considering a Vincent purchase try to obtain as much English or American owner history on that particular motorcycle as you can. The most important item you can obtain is the "factory works card" or simply the "build sheet". This will help verify the sellers claims on the motorcycle's authenticity plus guarantee that it is a factory produced motorcycle and not one assembled from spare parts. Additional pricing guidelines: deduct 25-40% for an assembled non-factory built, non-numbers matching (frame number and motor number not the required 1900 digits apart). 1924-1933 Due to the rarity of these years and models of Vincent, pricing data is still being collected.

Founded in 1928, Vincent Motorcycles was a British motorcycle manufacturing company primarily known for their 1948 Black Shadow motorcycle which was the world's fastest production bike. Due to heavy losses the company went defunct in 1959.
