Fast Facts

An electric-propelled, zero-emission trial bike, the BETA Minitrial-E is an exceptionally lightweight machine. Constructed on an aluminum tube frame, equipped with front and rear Shimano hydraulic disc brakes as well as an adjustable suspension system, the 2015 Minitrial-E embodies similar engineering that is prominently displayed in their larger gasoline-powered competition motorcycles. Returning for the 2015 model year is a 54-pound Minitrial-E coasting on 16-inch wheels. This 16-inch wheel model is created for young riders between the ages of 5 and 9 years-old. For 2015, the BETA Minitrial-E line-up is expanded with the arrival of a second model. A progression for riders who have outgrown the original version of the trial bike with 16-inch wheels, the 2015 Minitrial-E is now available with 20-inch wheels. Designed for riders age 8 to 12 years-old, the larger wheeled 2015 BETA Minitrial-E is situated on a wider wheelbase but weighs just two pounds more than the smaller model. The new 20-inch wheel Minitrial-E retains the electrical powertrain and runtime as the 16-inch model. Both versions of the 2015 BETA Minitrial-E are moved by a 750-watt electric motor fed by a trio of 12-volt lead acid batteries. Able to operate in slow, medium and fast settings, the runtime for the BETA Minitrial-E ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours. 16-inch and 20-inch wheel versions of the 2015 BETA Minitrial-E also arrive with a 12-month limited warranty.
