A Division of the Travel Equipment Corporation, Travel Mate provided a wide array of recreational vehicles for family outings. Coming to market in the mid-1960s as a camping trailer builder, Travel Mate added production of truck campers, fifth wheel trailers, travel trailers and motorhomes through the 1970s. Spanning from 16.5 to 29 feet in length, motorhomes sold under the Travel Mate name were Class A, Class B and Class C type configurations. The Travel Mate name concluded production after the 1981 model year.
