Founded by Howard Cree in the state of Michigan, Cree Coaches Incorporated debuted shortly after the Second World War. Constructing travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck campers and later park models, Cree was focused on building products featuring a home-like feel. Originally creating towable products as small as 8 feet in length, the fifth wheel trailers produced by Cree would span up to 40 feet in later years. Cree’s long run in the recreational vehicle market ended after the 1992 model year.
